Your Privacy Is Important to Codeage.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://www.codeage.com or visit our blog at https://blog.codeage.com and all other URLs on the Codeage.com domain (together with the Services, the “Site”).

 

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

    - When you visit the Site, your browser may be momentarily directed to the Web site of an ad server or other third party service provider. This re-direction process will not be apparent to you. These third party Web sites automatically receive your IP address when this happens, and they may also collect information from your interaction with our Web sites including computer and connection information, standard Web log information, and ad information. - Codeage may make available on the Site widgets and other surveys for which you can decide to provide answers or data. Those information may be stored in external servers or databases controlled by us or by third party vendors. 

- Codeage may make available on the Site third party applications such as content linking or sharing facilities. Information collected by providers of such applications is governed by their privacy policies. 

Additionally, when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, PayPal, Amazon Pay, email address, and phone number.  We refer to this information as “Order Information.”

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

 

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).  Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

Communicate with you; Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; answer customer support requests; and When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing, advertising campaigns and remarketing campaigns. We also use Device Information, including IP address, when you contact our customer support and may use IP address or other personal information to allow for the use of third-party apps including but not limited to our email providers, customer support platform, and the app which manages CCPA and GDPR requests. We also use Device Information, including IP address when you submit answers to surveys and/or other optional questions and studies made available on the Site.

- Offer you coupons, rewards, subscriptions plans and other incentives;

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We may also share your Personal Information with third-parties in order to process, service, and track your order(s), as well as to measure and track the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns. We do not sell nor share your information with any other third-party except for these purposes. The Conversions API sends purchase events between Shopify and Facebook servers to match your Personal Information on Facebook's network. We also use Intercom to help us provide you with customer support. In particular, we may provide a limited amount of your information (such as sign-up date and some personal information like your email address) to Intercom, Inc. (“Intercom”) and utilize Intercom to collect data for analytics purposes when you visit our website or use our product. As a data processor acting on our behalf, Intercom analyzes your use of our website and/or product and tracks our relationship by way of cookies and similar technologies so that we can improve our service to you. We also use Stamped to help us request reviews based on your order history. we may provide a limited amount of your information such as order number, order date, product(s) purchased, and some personal information like your first name, last name, email address, phone number to Stamped so they can request reviews on our behalf and publish them on our Site. We use Smile.io to help us manage our customer loyalty rewards program. We may provide a limited amount of your information such as order number, order date, product(s) purchased, and some personal information like your first name, last name, email address, phone number to Smile.io so they can track your orders and provide you with rewards for your loyalty to our Site. We also use Trustpilot to help us request reviews based on your order history. we may provide a limited amount of your information such as order number, order date, product(s) purchased, and some personal information like your first name, last name, email address, phone number to Trustpilot so they can request reviews on our behalf and publish it on their site and/or platforms. We also use Bazaarvoice to help us request reviews based on your order history. we may provide a limited amount of your information such as order number, order date, product(s) purchased, and some personal information like your first name, last name, email address, phone number to Bazaarvoice so they can request reviews on our behalf and publish it on their site and/or platforms and/or connected partners/retailers. We also use MongoDB to help us store information about customers, orders, products, and other research and surveys data when our customers answer questions and/or participate to surveys and other studies in order to provide insights, data analysis, data mining and/or informational education on the usage of our products, behaviorals habits, ingredients benefits and/or other specific information on the Site. We also use Recharge to help us manage and offer a subscription service on our Site. When you buy a product or complete an order on Subscription. we and/or Shopify may provide a limited amount of your information such as order number, order date, product(s) purchased, and some personal information like your first name, last name, email address, phone number to Recharge so we can fulfill your order and help you manage your subscription and payment. Codeage does not sell your personally identifiable information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes unless you provide us with consent to do so. NEVADA RESIDENT RIGHTS

If you are a resident of Nevada, you have the right to opt-out of the sale of certain Personal Information / Personal Data to third parties who intend to license or sell that Personal Information / Personal Data. You can exercise this right by contacting us at support@codeage.com with the subject line “Nevada Do Not Sell Request” and providing us with your name and the email address associated with your account. Please note that we do not currently sell your Personal Information / Personal Data as sales are defined in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A.

 

EUROPE

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.

 

DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information. When a request for deletion is received, we will process this demand and request your information to be deleted from the different applications that might be connected to our Site which may hold your information. The time these different application(s) will take to process the request may vary depending on several factors including if you have placed an order recently (in order to avoid chargebacks which cannot be documented for example). Information may also be anonymized in order to be able to retain order information for accounting purposes.

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 18.

 

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
