The work of longevity
is the work of time.
It does not happen in any single moment of the body. It happens in the body of a day, returned to. And the body of a day, returned to, is a ritual.
The word matters. A regimen is something imposed on a life — a list of items, a beginning, an end. A ritual is something a life is built around — present in the morning, present in the evening, present in the small attentions that compose a day.
The Codeage practice is a ritual. The difference is not in what is taken. The difference is in what is brought to the taking.
What follows is not a prescription. It is a reading of how the work of longevity moves through the body of a day — atmospherically, without commitment to a particular order or a particular form. The reader is welcome to build the ritual as it fits the life it lives in.

II · The Moments
A day holds
several moments.
Each is its own quality. Each carries its own attentiveness. The Codeage practice lives across them — sometimes in some, sometimes in all, never as obligation.
The Morning
The first attention. The body returning to itself after the night. Mornings tend toward foundation — the unhurried beginnings that orient the day. Water. Light. The first quiet.
The Day
The working hours. The body in continuity. The middle of the day is not always a ritual moment; for some it is, for many the morning's care quietly extends into it.
The Evening
The day's work behind, the night's rest ahead. Evenings tend toward the work of restoration — the architecture of structure and the slowing the body asks for.
The Night
Rest. The body's longest work happens here, in the systems the day cannot make conscious. The ritual of the night is mostly the ritual of letting it happen.
A ritual is not what is taken.
